I worked with the software´s capability itself as metaphorical layers of meaning. Thinking of the person segmentation texture as projection of one´s own and mutual image, the finger panning the screen to distort the texture through dragging an sdf circle like one drags a thoughtform of societal conditioning in our eyes when surveilling one´s body, materially affecting perception of self and others. I chose to work on the segmentation texture because although most associate filter dysmorphia with the face, there are several apps out there to "body tune" as well. The name ᗪYᔕᑭᒪᗩᑕEᗪ carrying the suffix "dys" and font to match. dys-, prefix. dys- comes from Greek, where it has the meaning "ill, bad. ''translates as "ill placed", one´s gaze, conditioning, body parts and so on.
